Proposed Amendments to Unified Development Ordinance

Chapters 2,3, and 19

The Brevard City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 17, 2020. The hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the Multipurpose Chambers, Transylvania County Administration Building located at 101 South Broad Street, Brevard, NC to consider the following:

Requests for text amendments to Brevard City Code, Unified Development Ordinance Chapter 2 – District Provisions, Chapter 3 – Additional Use Standards, and Chapter 19 – Definitions, to establish and create development standards for the Landscaping Services land use.

The Public Hearing format will be revised to comply with Governor Roy Cooper’s Emergency Orders issued in response to the COVID19 pandemic. The meeting room will not accommodate more than one speaker at a time, but you may submit your comments any time between the publication of this Notice and the expiration of the twenty-four hour period following the public hearing, which will be closed subject to the receipt of such comments received.
