Confederate Statues Need To Be Moved

I have come to the somewhat surprising conclusion that America should remove public reminders of a long ago slave-owning system and place them in appropriate cemeteries or museums. I say surprising because, as a genuine son of the South, I was raised on, and blindly accepted, the myth of the Lost Cause, which I now realize was based more on the fear of economic loss than on state’s rights issues.
