What's Blooming At Railroad Ave. Depot Park

August is a wonderful time to view native perennials at the pedestrian bridge gardens beside the Brevard Depot.

Transylvania Garden Club members, along with countless volunteers, have landscaped two sections of gardens closest to the depot along the recently completed section of the Estatoe Trail.

Come down to see black-eyed Susans, clethra, cone-flowers, goldenrod and Joe Pye in their glory. More fall blooming plants are still to be placed later this month.

Native plant donations are gladly accepted, especially asters, bee balm, maidenhair fern and milkweed. For more information contact...
