Group Sews Quilts Of Valor To Honor Two Local Veterans

Wrapped in their newly-received Quilts of Valor at the Courthouse Gazebo on Aug. 12 are (l-r) Mayor Jimmy Harris, U.S. Air Force, and Maj. Gen. Joseph J. Taluto, U.S. Army, retired.

On Aug. 12, 2020, the Veterans Military History Museum of the Carolinas and the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Quilts of Valor shared the Courthouse Gazebo once again to honor two very special veterans who selflessly served our country. The event was attended by immediate family and museum board members and pathfinders.
