In today’s paper, readers will find one letter and a guest column regarding our recent editorial about mail-in voting and drop-off ballots.
Ms. Santeiro states that in North Carolina absentee ballots and mail-in ballots are the same thing. That is true. That is not true, however, in other states that have universal mail-in ballots. In those states, voters do not have to request that a ballot be mailed to them. They automatically receive one. Voters have to request an absentee ballot.
