Several Felony Pleas Heard During Superior Court – Transylvania County, NC

The following felony cases in Transylvania County Superior Court were recently presided over by Judge Peter Knight.

•Eric Todd Boyer pleaded guilty to felony probation violation. He received a 30-day active sentence.

•Derek Thomas Chapman pleaded guilty to felony probation violation. He received a 90-day active sentence.

•Walter Tye Hall IV pleaded guilty to assault by strangulation, assault with a deadly weapon, assault by serious bodily injury and cyberstalking.

He received a 16-month minimum and 29-month maximum suspended sentence, with 30 months of supervised probation.

•Jordan Alex Hogsed pleaded guilty to intentional child abuse, with serious bodily injury.

He received a 36-month minimum and 56-month maximum active sentence.

•Forest Russell Holder pleaded guilty to felony probation violation. He received a 60-day active sentence.

•Ashley Tanisha Jones pleaded guilty to felony probation violation.

She received a 60-day active sentence.

•Matthew Alan Lusk pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a felony probation violation. He received a five-month minimum and 15-month maximum suspended sentence, with 12 months of supervised probation.

•Dorothy Elaine McCall pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a felony probation violation, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She received a five-month minimum and 15-month maximum suspended sentence, with 12 months of supervised probation.

•Cassandra Eliza Miller pleaded guilty to felony probation violation. She received a six-month minimum and 17-month maximum active sentence.

•Travis Ray Queen pleaded guilty to two counts of probation violation and received two consecutive 10-month minimum and 21-month maximum active sentences.

He also pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and received an additional eight-month minimum and 19-month maximum active sentence.

•Megan May Yeomans pleaded guilt to felony probation violation. She received a 90-day active sentence.
