Thomas William McCrary, 94, of Pisgah Forest, passed away Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020.

A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Virgil and Ida McCall McCrary. In addition to his parents, his brother, Charles McCrary, and his sisters, Dola Shipman, Helen Duckworth, Dorothy Case, Lucille Lawler, Kathleen Moore and Mary Wilson, also preceded him in death.

An active member of Little River Baptist Church, he was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army.

Self-employed for many years, he loved people and his community. He was a “Little River Man.” H...
