Board Wants More Information Before Plan Decision – Transylvania County, NC

The consensus of the Transylvania County Board of Education Monday night was to wait until it had received results from a parent survey and received clarification on social distancing on buses before making any decision about moving forward with Plan A.
The school system opened up in August under Plan B, a hybrid model in which students are in the classroom two days a week and learning at home three days a week. About one-third of the school system’s students are learning entirely from home.
