Brevard's own Co-ed Cinema opened this weekend after seven months of being closed due to the pandemic.
Despite a rainy weekend and the challenges of reopening under such unusual circumstances, Owner Abby Steel said, as of Sunday, she's seen around 50 to 60 people come see the Co-ed's premier: Christopher Nolan's latest, "Tenet."
Steel, who has owned the cinema since 2015, said she's always had a strong passion for movies, and the Co-ed is where she got her first job, at 17.
"I love the business and the community," she said.
The cinema closed on March 17.
