Betty Jean Hall Robitschek

Betty Jean Hall Robitschek, 80, passed away Sept. 8, 2020, in Pinellas Park, Fla.

Born in Norfolk, Va., she was the daughter of Charles Harrison Hall and Virginia May Boyce Hall.

Her parents; husband, Robert Robitschek; brothers, Charles Harrison Jr. and Michael Allen Hall; stepmother, Margaret (Peggy) Hall; and special family, Verner and Gladys Hall, of Lake Toxaway, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister, Jo Ann Hall Owen (Gerald), of Brevard; brothers, Richard D. Hall (Darla), of Lake Toxaway, Terry Lee Hall (Sharon), of Brevard, and Steve Harrison Hall (Tammy), of Greensboro; and nieces, nephews and cousins galore.

Born June 9, 1940, she had cerebral palsy, was deaf and mute. She never let her disabilities slow her down. She could talk a mile a minute through sign language. Always smiling and happy, she did not let life’s struggles get her down. She was an amazing person.

Burial will be held at Mack McCall Cemetery in Lake Toxaway Oct. 24, 2020, at 11 a.m.

A Celebration of Life service will follow the graveside service at Macedonia Baptist Church in the fellowship hall. A boxed lunch will be served.
