The Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents and felony arrests between Sept. 25 and Oct. 21.

Arrests

•Jonathan Lee Lance, 39, was arrested for one count of habitual felon on Oct. 13. He was placed in the Transylvania County detention center under a $50,000 bond.

•Taylor Tedoso Perez, 31, was arrested for one count of assault by strangulation on Oct. 11. He was placed in the county detention center under no bond.

•Joseph Bennelee Frady Jr., 27, was arrested for one count of possession of methamphetamine on Oct. 8.

He was placed in the county detention center under a $6,000 bond.

•Lakisha Michelle Bussey, 41, was arrested for one count of possession of methamphetamine on Oct. 6.

She was placed in the county detention center under a $1,000 bond.

•Corey Ryan Miller, 27, was arrested for one count of obstructing justice, one count of intimidating witness and one count of habitual felon on Oct. 3. He was an inmate in the county detention center when he was served with the charges and given a $10,000 bond.

•Aaron Jerome Hemphill, 38, was arrested for one count of flee/elude arrest on Oct. 3. He was placed in the county detention center under a $25,000 bond.

•Charles Daniel Briggs, 41, was arrested for one count of failure to appear on Oct. 1. He was placed in the county detention center under an $80,000 bond.

•Amber Leighann Hartley, 23, was arrested for one count of failure to appear on Sept. 29. She was placed in the county detention center under a $12,000 bond.

•Samantha Nicole Mann, 20, was arrested for one count of failure to comply on Sept. 28. She was placed in the county detention center under a $15,000 bond.

•James Lee Mayhorn, 36, was arrested for one count of failure to register as a sex offender on Sept. 28. He was placed in the county detention center under no bond.

•Aaron Jerome Hemphill, 38, was arrested for one count of possession of methamphetamine on Sept. 27.

He was placed in the county detention center under a $6,000 bond.

•Tyler Shea Fisher, 18, was arrested for one count of possession of marijuana schedule six controlled substance on Sept. 25. He was placed in the county detention center under a $5,000 bond.

Incidents

•There was a report of obtaining property by false pretense in Brevard on Oct. 14. The victim reported $1,000 stolen from their residence without permission.

•There was a report of larceny on North Country Club Road on Oct. 8. The victim reported a motorized wheelchair was stolen from the residence.

•There was a report of theft from a building on Koda Drive on Oct. 7. The victim reported crystals and stones stolen from the residence.

•There was a report of burglary/breaking and entering on Three Mile Knob in Pisgah Forest on Sept. 28. The victim reported a dog crate and fan were stolen from the residence.

There was a report of theft from building on Patton Mountain Road in Pisgah Forest on Sept. 24. The victim reported a Taurus revolver stolen from the residence.

There was a report of motor vehicle theft on Totem Pole Lane in Brevard on Sept. 22. The victim reported a pop up style camper was stolen from the residence.

There was a report of exploitation of an elder adult or disabled adult on Crab Creek Road in Penrose on Sept. 22.

There was a report of theft from motor vehicle on Island Ford Road in Brevard on Sept. 21. The victim reported a semi automatic handgun was stolen from the vehicle.

There was a report of obtaining property by false pretense on Pickens Highway in Rosman on Sept. 21. The victim reported their information was used to obtain an unknown amount of money.

There was a report of theft from building on Reasonover Road in Cedar Mountain on Sept. 21. The victim reported a diamond ring was stolen from the residence.
