P.E.O. Honors Margaret Klava

P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) Chapter BT celebrated member Margaret Klava, who has been a member of P.E.O. for 50 years. Chapter members gathered on Oct. 14 at The Depot to honor Klava. Members shared memories of special moments with the honoree and showered her with balloons, and an arrangement of golden roses. Chapter BT is proud of the exceptional sisters who have dedicated themselves for 50 years and more to supporting women helping women reach for their educational goals.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College; and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations. More than 113,000 women have been helped in pursuit of their educational goals by providing over $366 million in educational assistance, making a difference in women’s lives through six philanthropies and a foundation.
