Arrest Made After Friday Shooting In Jackson County

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) announced Friday evening they have arrested suspect Kenneth William McCall, 66, in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier Friday morning near Pinhook Valley Campground in Jackson County.

McCall was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious bodily injury and discharging a weapon into occupied property, according to a news release.

The shooting victim, William Walker McCall, 37, was airlifted to Mission Hospital with life threatening injuries Friday morning.

His condition is currently unknown....
