Landfill Will Be Expanded – Transylvania County, NC

Transylvania County will expand its Woodruff Road landfill to handle the county’s garbage for decades to come.
During its regular meeting Monday, the Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to expand at the landfill rather the build a transfer station, where garbage would be dropped off and then taken to a landfill out of the county.
