Memories Shared About Halloween Events – Brevard, NC

When you live in Transylvania County, Halloween festivities are often taken to the next level –– from decorated houses to elaborate costumes to busy streets awash with trick-or-treaters.

However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, things will be different this year. Downtown Brevard's annual Halloweenfest will be a virtual experience and health officials are discouraging people from participating in door-to-door trick-or-treating.

But for many in the community there are fond memories of past Halloween celebrations that offer the opportunity for retrospection in light of the pandemic.
