The Transylvania Times -

Library Is The Antidote

We recently returned to Florida after our 29th summer in Lake Toxaway. It was another season of beautiful weather, but, due to the pandemic, absent many of our favorite activities. We greatly missed Friday night country music at the community center, our monthly visit to the Balsam Grove Community Center, weekly meetings of the Brevard Rotary Club, our bridge club and the many other social events of life in the mountains.

However, there was one institution that filled our days with pleasure: the Transylvania County Library. This university class facility has thousands of books and videos to satisfy every interest and a staff of knowledgeable and friendly librarians who are determined to help you take advantage of all their friendly treasures.

We recommend the library as an antidote to COVID-19.
