Transylvania County Votes Republican In Statewide Races – Transylvania County, NC

Statewide, North Carolina state races are neck-and-neck with few Democrats claiming victory as of Wednesday. Transylvania County results, however, show voters decidedly picked GOP candidates across the board.

In the race for lieutenant governor, (R) Mark Robinson won both Transylvania County and the state respectively with 11,799 votes in county (58.97 percent) to (D) Yvonne Lewis Holley’s 8,210 votes (42.64 percent.) Statewide, Robinson received 2,773,751 (51.66 percent.)
