Habitat Playhouse Fundraiser Delights Local Children In The Neighborood

Angie Hunter, executive director of Transylvania Habitat for Humanity, announced that the "Hobbitat" playhouse recently offered to the public by silent auction was delivered this week to the residence of the highest bidder, Chris Biglio, who is a Brevard resident.

The bidding started at $700 and the winning bid reached $4,500. Fundraising events such as this, mortgage payments from Habitat homeowners, grants, profits from the Restore, and donations from local business and individuals provide the funds to construct Habitat homes.
