Board OKs Facility Needs Survey – Transylvania County, NC

By a 5-0 vote Monday night, the Transylvania County Board of Education approved its DPI (Department of Public Instruction) Facility Needs Survey. The survey reveals approximately $22.7 million in capital needs for the school system.
“This is something that we do every five years for the state,” said Norris Barger, the school system’s finance director and head of plant operations.
