The COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage the world with cases topping 62 million and deaths exceeding 1.4 million. The United States ranks number one with the total of 13.4 million cases, and more than a quarter of a million deaths. Even India with a far greater population reports lower statistics.
Scientists throughout the world have been rushing to create a safe and effective vaccine. They are reporting positive results: Pfizer’s vaccine has proved to be 90 percent effective, while Moderna reports a 94 percent effective rate.
