Children's Center Keeps Doors Open To Help Families – Transylvania County, NC

While the pandemic has restricted or closed a number of businesses and organizations in the area, others have risen to its challenge, even increasing their activities.

The Children's Center of Transylvania County is one them, a private non-profit agency that is busier than ever, with its doors remaining open throughout the period.

Headquartered in a small house tucked away on South Johnson Street at the edge of downtown Brevard, it is handling a work load these days at an annual rate of more than a thousand case encounters for and about children.
