As I thought about what was going on in the country right now, I wondered how I’ve made it since 1947.
You see in 1957, the Asian Flu killed over 100,000 of us. In 1968, the Hong Kong Flu killed over 100,000. In 2009, the H1N1 virus killed more than 12,000. But in each of these pandemics, our lives went on unrestricted. Then in 2020, another Chinese virus popped up and we went into a tailspin as politicians, media and “health” professionals beat the drums of doom.
They told us to mask up, or not –or yeah, do. Wash our hands more. Close our schools, churches. Stay indoors. Limit...
