Seniors Celebrate A 'Different' Holiday Season – Brevard, NC

"It's a different feeling in the building. Normally, this time of year, we would have almost 20 Christmas trees set up," said Diana Mashburn, sales director at College Walk Retirement Community.

Life inside of senior living facilities has been particularly lonely this year, as COVID-19 has hit nursing homes and similar facilities with some of the worst outbreaks of the pandemic. As Christmas nears, assisted living facilities are adapting to bring what holiday cheer they can to their residents.
