Rosman Falls To Murphy In Battle For First Place In SMC

Tuesday's clash between the top two teams in the Smoky Mountain Conference didn't disappoint, as the Rosman Lady Tigers and the Murphy Bulldogs gave each other all they could handle over the course of four sets.

Unfortunately, for the home side, the Bulldogs' offensive attack was enough to propel Murphy to a 3-1 win.

Murphy had a distinct height advantage and used powerful outside hitters as the catalyst for the victory.

Rosman started the match strong, building a 9-5 lead in the first set before Murphy chipped away at the advantage until the score was tied at 14-14.
