The recent addition to the Lucy Clark Gallery nearly doubles the space for photographs, paintings, vases and other pieces of art.

The Lucy Clark Gallery & Studio, located at 51 W. Main St. in downtown Brevard, has completed an expansion to the gallery including what was the former winter office of Rock Brook Camp. The space, now joined together by an interior pass through, allows the gallery to have almost double the square footage in which to showcase local, regional, national and internationally recognized artists in all mediums.

Electrician Joe Davis installs some track lighting in the gallery's expanded area.

The owner, Lucy Clark said, "It is incredibly rewarding to be able to represent the artistic talent that this area has to offer. To do this on a grander scale is something I have envisioned for quite some time and to have it finally come to fruition is an absolute honor."

Clark said that when it is safe to do so, she will be offering workshops in person with a dedicated area that has plenty of fresh air. For now, she will begin to offer a few virtual art demos so that folks can learn from the comfort of their own home.
