Using its nationally recognized and award-winning wellness formula, Skyterra Wellness Retreat has announced the launch of Skyterra Embrace, a program for young adult women.
Skyterra Embrace is an individualized wellness program to help young adult women ages 18 to 29 find independence. Students participate in private therapy and coaching, group processing and discussion, structured classes, community service, and hands-on integration of healthy life skills.
Located at the former Bradley Creek Falls Lodge and Event Center, the 12-acre Skyterra Embrace campus consists of walking trails, a kitchen, dining area, bedrooms and living spaces, apartments, a sun deck, balconies with expansive mountain views, a community room, yoga yurt and a gym space.
“The mission of Embrace is to empower young women to live healthy and valued lives through active and committed change,” said Greg Ostler, Embrace’s executive director. “Embrace students focus on improving health, and on learning techniques and strategies to improve their quality of life for the long run.”
The Skyterra Embrace program is staffed by an expert team with more than 30 years of therapeutic program experience, specializing in the transition to adulthood.
“We designed the program so that students benefit from our small size that provides an intimate and healing environment,” said Sue Crowell, owner and founder of Skyterra and Skyterra Embrace. “Young women leave Embrace with newfound confidence and vision for the future.”
Skyterra Embrace is open and accepting applications. Embrace is part of Skyterra Wellness Retreat, which opened in June 2016 as a holistic health retreat. Skyterra has earned several accolades, including being named a top three wellness retreat in the country by USA Today for the past three years in a row.
