Talking about fog freezing last week, my daughter has to be at work before 7 a.m. She was so amazed to see frozen fog in the air. She said it was like fine crystals of ice in the air and everything was coated with the fog. Then there was snow and black ice a few days later. It is January.

A silo is a structure for storing bulk materials. Silos are used in agriculture to store grain or fermented feed known as silage. There are several remains of these structures still standing in Cathey’s Creek. We are looking at the history of these, who built them and what they were used for in their day.
