There are so many ways Connestee Falls residents give back to the community. Their efforts support those in need, women and children, and young people in pursuit of their educational or vocational dreams.
But, there is one area – and in this case it’s 2.2 miles of area – that a group of volunteers care for and love. The job is a dirty one, but “Hey, someone’s gotta do it!”
This group of 70 volunteers is one of 52 groups across the state who belong to the North Carolina Department of Trans-portation’s (NCDOT) Adopt-a-Highway program.
