Brevard City Council Monday approved the sale of its 3-acre property off North Broad Street to a developer for the purpose of building an 80-room "boutique" hotel.
As previously reported, the property was purchased by the city for $1,877,500, and the agreed sale price to the developer is $2,450,000.
In the previous council meeting, Planning Director Paul Ray said the Planning Department currently has no specific plans or details on the project.
