The Transylvania Endowment, an affiliate of The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina (CFWNC), is accepting applications for its spring grant cycle from nonprofits serving Transylvania County. The grants range from $2,500 to $5,000 for projects that exhibit the greatest community benefit. The deadline to apply is Feb. 5, 2021.

The online application is available at http://www.cfwnc.org/Grantseekers/GrantDirectory.

In 1998, local people established the Endowment as a permanent charitable fund to meet local needs. Gifts added to the Endowment’s principal are preserved and invested, while grants from the Endowment support nonprofits in Transylvania County. To make a tax-deductible contribution, donate online at http://www.TransylvaniaEndowment.org or by mail to Transylvania Endowment, P.O. Box 2334, Brevard, NC 28712-2334. Make checks payable to CFWNC noting “Transylvania Endowment” in the memo line. Contributions of any size are welcome.

CFWNC works with families, businesses and nonprofits to strengthen communities through the creation of charitable funds and strategic grant making. The Foundation manages over 1,200 funds and has facilitated more than $276 million in philanthropy since its founding in 1978. Learn more at http://www.cfwnc.org.
