Rezoning Next Step In Hotel Process – Brevard, NC

An application for rezoning is the next step after Brevard City Council approved the sale of the 3-acre property off North Broad Street for a proposed 80-room “boutique” hotel.

As previously reported, the property was purchased by the city for $1,877,500, and the agreed sale price to the developer is $2,450,000.

Brevard City Planning Director Paul Ray said the developer, who has not wanted to be identified in the press during this process, hasn’t applied for rezoning, yet.
