Enjoying Spring Blooms Early, With A Little Trickery

It is winter – the daylight hours are short and the temperatures are cold; and both Punxsutawney Phil and our own Pisgah Pete predict six more weeks of it. On top of that we've been stuck at home for months due to the pandemic. I think most of us are suffering from a severe case of spring fever. We can't fool Mother Nature into making spring arrive any sooner than usual, but we can trick her just a little into forcing some spring blooms to show up in our homes in just a few weeks' time.

If you potted up some bulbs last fall, you could be enjoying daffodils and hyacinths blooming rig...
