ALDI To Open In The Fall, Belk Alive And Well – Brevard, NC

The long-awaited ALDI grocery store in Brevard will arrive in the fall, while the Belk in Pisgah Forest is going nowhere, despite the company’s recent filing for bankruptcy .

“We are excited to confirm that we will open a new store in Brevard this fall,” said Shaun O’Keefe, the Jefferson Division vice president at ALDI, in an email.

In August 2020, a developer for the ALDI grocery store chain submitted new permits for construction on the former Mr. Pete’s Market site on the Asheville Highway in Brevard.
