Vaccine Total Exceeds 2,600 – Transylvania County, NC

Through Monday, Feb. 15, Transylvania Public Health has given a total of 2,658 COVID-19 vaccinations, including 2,052 first doses and 606 second doses.

All Transylvania County vaccine providers have been allocated 3,800 first doses and have given 3,725 first doses, according to Public Health.

About 10.8 percent of all county residents have received a vaccine, including 27 percent of those ages 65-74 and 28 percent of those ages 75 or older.

A total of 1,104 county residents have received two doses of vaccine, which is 3.2 percent of the total population, 3 percent of those ages 65-74,...
