Health Director Gives Update – Transylvania County, NC

As of Monday, 5,463 Transylvania County residents (15.9 percent of the population) have had at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to Public Health Director Elaine Russell.
Russell was speaking Monday during the county Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting.
Russell provided a breakdown of age groups and the percentage within the group who have been vaccinated one time.
