Council Wants State Study – Brevard, NC

Brevard City Council will send a letter to Attorney General Josh Stein requesting a state-level study about the impacts of the change in the nonprofit to for-profit business model for rural health care in western North Carolina.
Initiated by Council-woman Maureen Copelof, council also backed having Mayor Jimmy Harris and County Manager Jim Fatland approach Transylvania County commissioners to send a similar letter.
