Going Macro

Using a macro lens can be tricky and can take time to focus. But with a little patience and practice, shooting macro can be fun and open your eyes to the number of tiny flowers and insects in your own backyard. From left to right are a pair of moths breeding, a rosebud tree blooming, Mayweed, a purple cone flower. (Below) The ooze is runoff from a drain along the bike path. (Times photos by Park Baker)
