Business Owners Don't Feel They Have Been Treated Fairly By City – Brevard, NC

Two business owners are seeking clarity and an "equal playing field," they say, from city of Brevard leadership for the issuing of special event permits.

Both Bruce Stewart, owner of KTCHN in downtown Brevard, and Todd Branham, owner of Blue Ridge Adventures, expressed disappointment to seeing the downtown Arts in March event that was held a few weeks after the city declined to give Branham's Pisgah Stage Race a special-use permit to operate his event this month.

The Pisgah Stage Race was to start and finish at the Oskar Blues Brewery.
