The Sewing Shop Spends A Day Giving Back To The Community

The Sewing Shop in Brevard closed for a day, so that all employees could spend the day volunteering to build a Habitat home for a family of five in Transylvania County.

"Every year, The Sewing Shop strives to donate our time and skills to a nonprofit organization," said Terri Waller, owner of The Sewing Shop. "We have made pillowcase dresses for missionaries; soft flannel hearts for premature babies placed in incubators; and shoebox donations.
