Eta Aquarid Meteor Shower

The Eta Aquarid meteor shower peaks about 10 p.m. EDT Wednesday night. Thus, the best time for observing will be in the predawn hours Thursday morning until the waning crescent moon rises shortly after 4 a.m. Observers in the Carolinas will find the radiant, the point out of which the meteors will appear to originate, in Aquarius low in the east before dawn.
