Davidson River Graduates Told A Plan In Store For Them

Brent Cox was proud to see his son, Blake, graduate Thursday from Davidson River School.

E. J. Scalf told the Davidson River School 2021 graduates Thursday that there is a "plan for them," that it's OK to ask for help and to keep being "real and authentic."

Scalf was the keynote speaker during the school's commencement exercises at the Brevard Music Center, where friends, family members and others came out to celebrate this milestone in the students' lives.

The program opened with a processional led by Dr. Ora Wells playing his bagpipes and followed by Board of Education members, school and district faculty, and the graduates.
