Coree Bates Signs To Play Football For Black Knights

Last Tuesday afternoon Brevard High Senior Coree Bates signed a scholarship to play football for the Black Knights of Rock Hill Community Christian College.

The 6-foot-1, 290-pound offensive lineman said he might play both offensive and defensive lineman, but he prefers playing offensive line and paving the way for running backs.

"I'm unselfish," said Bates. "I just like making the blocks for your running backs and seeing them score."

Bates has enjoyed his time playing for the Blue Devils.
