Music Festival Is Back, But With COVID-19 Still A Factor

The return of the Brevard Music Center’s (BMC) summer festival this weekend marks the first big festival in Transylvania County since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

And though COVID-19 cases are low and vaccines are widely available in western North Carolina, BMC will be still be following several COVID-19 guidelines to keep patrons, students and staff safe.

According to the BMC website, the center has partnered with MAHEC (Mountain Area Health Education Center) to create its safety guidelines for COVID-19.
