CDC Reports On N.C.'s Focus On Vaccine Distribution Among Minorities

On Thursday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a report high-lighting how North Carolina’s focus on equity in administering vaccines increased COVID-19 vaccination rates in Black and Hispanic communities.
Between December 2020 and April 2021, the proportion of vaccines being distributed to Black North Carolinians increased from 9% to 19% and the proportion going to Hispanic North Carolinians increased from 4% to 10%.
