The advocates of the Ecusta Trail might want to consider putting their muscle where their mouth is. The most beautiful part of the trail is being destroyed by kudzu. By now, we all understand that these mountains are being held together by the roots of trees. But kudzu is pulling down these trees, smothering them and depriving them of sunlight.
Once they go, the roots will rot and the outer edge of the curve will begin to erode into the valley.
