Little-Known WWII Facts Shared At Presentation

Sam Hipp explains the history of the Polish Government-in-Exile.

On July 21, Sam Hipp, a recent Brevard College graduate, delivered a presentation at the Transylvania Elections Center on "Little-Known Facts About WWII in Europe" for the Veterans History Museum of the Carolinas.

Hipp's choice of topic reflected his passionate interest in World War II history and his view that the war, as a world catastrophe, involved important events, in addition to those that commonly focused only on America's role.

Hipp spoke knowledgeably and shared photo images of situations that affected the populations of five countries in Europe between 1939 and 1945:
