Fundraising Efforts Underway For Courthouse Project

As previously reported, the Courthouse wildlife field project in Pisgah National Forest is a non-commercial wildlife habitat project that is a part of the 2013 Courthouse Creek Project.

This field will be a 3-acre permanent wildlife opening at an elevation of just above 3,800 ft. Planting will consist of U.S. Forest Service and N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission approved grasses and forbs.

The project will involve the removal of the existing trees within the 3-acre boundary by a hired contractor.
