Embroiderers' Guild Of America To Meet Sept. 3

The Laurel Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America (EGA) will meet in person on Thursday, Sept. 3.

The September program will be the second of a two-part class on creating a felted wool needle keeper. The project, taught by Carlie Holdredge, uses surface embroidery and appliqué techniques.

The Laurel Chapter meets at Cummings United Methodist Church, 3 Banner Farm Road, Etowah/Horse Shoe. Registration is from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will be followed by a short business meeting and the program until noon. If interested, contact Mary Ann Wyatt at (828) 681-0572.
