With Tropical Storm Fred dropping a deluge of rainfall early last week, the town of Rosman was hit particularly hard, with some residents spending days cleaning out their houses and being forced to make tough decisions about what to do moving forward.

The storm dumped as many as 17 inches of rain on some parts of the county, causing landslides, knocking down trees, flooding out roads and damaging homes.
