Slowing Virus's Spread Discussed

As numbers of confirmed cases of COVID-19 continue to climb, members of the Brevard Downtown Master Plan Committee discussed possible action plans to slow the spread of the virus at their regularly scheduled meeting last week.

Previously, on Aug. 5, City Manager Jim Fatland began requiring face masks be worn by employees and visitors at city buildings. Fatland said that was a “really good decision,” but added that since that time, six city employees have contracted COVID-19, either through direct contact or contact through a family member.
